CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING IN TYRONE
We gave out free cookies and cocoa at Tyrone's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. It's a holiday tradition for our club and members and their families came out to help.

2011 VETERANS DAY
Derrick Jackson was our speaker at Club Meeting on 11/10 with veterans as our guests. Then on 11/12 we held an event to honor veterans in Tyrone's Veterans Memorial Park.

2011 FAYETTE CARE CLINIC CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
Volunteering at their annual fundraising golf tournament is just one of the many ways our club supports the work of Fayette Care Clinic. We are proud to have the Executive Director, Sheryl Watford, as one of our members.

VISIT FROM OUR DISTRICT GOVERNOR
We held an Octoberfest party in honor of 6900 District Governor Margie Kersey's visit to our club. Carol Stallings opened her home for
the event and Rotarians and their families enjoyed the evening with Margie and her husband Ron.
The following morning Margie and Ron joined us for our regular Thursday meeting. Margie was an inspiring speaker and helped us
welcome our newest member and honor our Paul Harris Fellows.

2011 WALK TO END ALZHEIMER'S
At the 2011 Walk to End Alzheimer's in Peachtree City, our club joined the Peachtree City and Coweta-Fayette clubs at one combined Rotary booth. Each club also raised funds to donate to the Alzheimer's Association.

Each year our club volunteers at the Toga Trot, a fundraising run/walk sponsored by local Rotary Clubs and the Atlanta Southern Crescent Panhellenic Association. Rotary Clubs donate their portion of the proceeds to the Rotary Polio Eradication Fund and the Panhellenic Association puts it's proceeds
toward college scholarship programs.
