NEWS FROM OUR CLUB
THANKS FOR A GREAT DOG WALK!
The weather was beautiful and so were the dogs and their
humans! This year's Paws for a Purpose Charity Dog Walk was
a great success. And our first 5K-9 Run was too, thanks to help
from our friend and Assistant District Governor, George Martin. Thank you George!
SOLES4SOULS
Each year our club collects new and gently-used shoes to
donate to Soles4Souls, an international relief organization
offering shoes to the poverty stricken and support for micro-businesses. Club members Bill Reilly (left) and Frank Harris
loaded up the van for delivery in February.
DONATIONS FOR PROMISE PLACE
For the months of Nov/Dec we collected items for
Promise Place, a women's shelter providing safety for
victims of domestic violence in Fayette County. Club member Lee Dodds (right), dropped off
our donations with Vicky Farragut of Promise Place.
